Dancing In The Light
In honor of our sweet Kora’s heavenly birthdays, our family wants to provide a special annual event for families who have a child (birth-18 years old) living with a rare or complex medical diagnosis. We want to provide a time where families celebrate their child who has overcome many challenges and continues to display strength in their everyday life. Money donated and raised will provide an evening of "dancing in the light" as families enjoy music, entertainment, and food.
A Light Package From Kora
Mother's Day will forever be a day where emptiness and wholeness coexist. A feeling of emptiness as our Kora passed away in my arms on Mother's Day 2024 and a reminder that she is no longer with us earthside. A feeling of wholeness as our girls short time with us brought us closer to Jesus and gives us a reminder that His promise of eternal life for believers is worth every tear shed and heartache we experience in this broken world.
Spending Kora's life at the Rochester neonatal intensive care unit gave us insight on difficulties and uncertainties parents face while navigating their baby's health journey. Money raised and donated will be used to provide annual "Light Packages From Kora" for moms celebrating Mothers Day with their precious baby while in the Mayo Rochester NICU.
